Project
The project focuses on mechatronic
systems-engineering and analyzes which existing theoretical concepts support
remote collaboration and thus, represent a methodical base for collaboration in
the engineering field. The final implementation of the project consists of a
remote collaboration environment, linking interaction devices, applications,
and mechatronic elements over networks. The methodical concept as well as the
actual realization will be verified using an adequate use case in the automotive
industry. In the end, the results of this verification will be compared with
the traditional processes as well as their performance regarding production through-put
and concept quality.
